Job Summary

A boutique private bank is seeking a versatile candidate with strong analytical and communication skills to assume a multi-faceted role within a growing organization. The candidate is expected to complete projects with minimal amount of supervision and adapt to changing assignments and responsibilities. The candidate will be part of a team with responsibility over nationwide footprint expansion, private banking product development, and analysis of proprietary investment opportunities.

Bank Related Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Preparation of materials for Board of Director meetings.
  • Mortgage Pricing for Emigrant portfolio loan origination.
  • Bank Liquidity Reporting.
  • Interest Rate Swap market-to-market and daily margin posting.
  • Foreign currency hedging and coupon exchanges USD/AUD.
  • Manage Relationship with Federal Agencies.
  • Management of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly Excel reports related to banking activity, interest rates and loan origination.
  • Frequent ad hoc analytical projects.

Trust Related Responsibilities

  • Ongoing client management of investment management accounts
  • Analysis of prospective client portfolios in order to develop proposals
  • Corporate and Municipal Bond credit analysis and ongoing surveillance and credit committee member.
  • ETF Model management.
  • Preparation of quarterly Account Review Committee (ARC) materials and attend ARC meetings
  • Develop integral knowledge of BNY Pershing NetX360 custodian platform
  • Preparation of regulatory and audit responses for: internal audit, external audit, FOFR and the FDIC.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelors in Finance, Economics, or related major
  • 4+ years experience within financial services
  • Excellent understanding of equity, alternative investing and financial markets.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and financial modeling.
  • Ability to review legal agreements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Close attention to detail
  • Strong quantitative ability, intellectual curiosity

New York pay range

New York pay range: $110,000 - $125,000 USD
