Senior Associate, Business Manager - Merchant Services
About the role
The Client Onboarding & Service Finance & Business Management team is seeking a Senior Associate, Business Manager – Merchant Services to support Merchant Services. This high-impact role ensures senior management across the Global Bank has visibility into major Client Onboarding & Service initiatives, metrics, financials, and insights. You will play a key role in client retention through their onboarding and servicing experience while supporting business growth.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Client Onboarding & Service and Finance & Business Management to understand business objectives and prepare executive presentations, packaging and presenting projections and performance trends to tell a cohesive story.
- Design management reporting packages to communicate business results transparently and concisely.
- Coordinate operations and deliverables with business managers, finance, project managers, and senior stakeholders across the firm.
- Analyze complex data sets, assess KPI trends, and create impactful insights using statistical analysis tools to assist in strategy development.
- Partner with the Client Onboarding & Service and Finance & Business Management team to budget and forecast headcount and expenses.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Client Onboarding & Service, project management, or finance, with a focus on storytelling and context-setting using financial data.
- Ability to work collaboratively and develop dynamic partnerships with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Advanced presentation skills (PowerPoint and/or PitchPro), including repurposing standard content and designing new materials (~50% of the role).
- Intermediate Excel skills, with proficiency in complex functions, automation, and data visualization.
- Ability to interpret and present complex data with an advanced attention to detail in an engaging manner.
- Highly motivated, proactive attitude with a natural passion for learning and an inquisitive personality.
- Excellent problem-solving, resourcefulness, and critical-thinking skills.
- Naturally curious, with a desire to use data to promote efficiency or improve outcomes.
- Operate with a sense of urgency and know how to prioritize effectively.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; JPMorgan Chase will not provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
