Senior Associate - Automation Test Engineer

Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week. The position will drive enterprise-wide initiatives that leverage emerging technologies, including Generative AI, to enhance productivity, modernize processes, and deliver seamless experiences for clients, agents, and employees. This leader will be responsible for advancing innovation, operational agility, and sustainable growth while ensuring technology investments align with business priorities and long-term enterprise strategy. Through visionary leadership and cross-functional partnership, this role will help accelerate New York Life’s continued success in an increasingly digital marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Bring ideas and concrete actions to reduce manual steps, pain points, errors while increasing velocity [time to market]
- Design and develop efficient automation framework, scripts to validate the functionality, accuracy, and efficiency of software
- Develop tests, test suites, execution protocols for CI/CD
- Analyze test results: Review test results to identify areas of improvement
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to create more efficient automation strategies and deployment processes
- Maintain testing frameworks and ensure software reliability and performance
- Identify how to use tools to reduce areas of friction and manual steps
- Document test coverage, framework, instructions, results and resolution of issues
- Provide executive level reporting on both manual, automated and accessibility QA metrics
