Senior Associate Attorney – Insurance Defence

About the role

Our client is a highly regarded Texas litigation boutique with a reputation built on exceptional advocacy and a genuine passion for the courtroom. With more than 25 years of success, they are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to take ownership of a busy insurance defence caseload while working alongside some of the state's most respected trial lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of auto, trucking and premises liability matters
• Lead depositions, court appearances and hearings
• Develop case strategy and advise clients
• Draft motions, briefs and other legal documentation
• Prepare for and participate in trials
• Work closely with partners while enjoying significant autonomy

Requirements

• 8+ years' insurance defence litigation experience
• Experience managing a full caseload independently
• Strong courtroom and trial experience
• Excellent legal drafting and advocacy skills
• Admission to practice law in Texas
• Experience gained within a litigation boutique or mid-sized defence firm would be advantageous
