Senior Assistant Director, Admission Operations - Georgia Institute of Technology
About the role
The Senior Assistant Director of Admission Operations manages the execution of daily application processing, data management, and compliance review while leading a dedicated team. This position will have a focus on data integrity, processing documentation, workflow management, and technology to continuously improve admission operations.
Responsibilities
The Senior Assistant Director will actively collaborate with the SLATE CRM team and campus partners to design, maintain, and support vendor integrations and technology platforms. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can balance multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency in admission operations. The Senior Assistant Director will analyze operational activities, generate reports, and provide strategic analysis to support enrollment goals.
Requirements
- A minimum of seven years of higher education work experience, including admission operations and staff management
- Preferred: Admissions operation experience within a large public university
Knowledge
- Thorough experience and knowledge with Slate CRM and Banner SIS or similar systems
- Proficiency in admission practices, operational activities, and interpreting policies and procedures (institutional, state, and federal)
- Developing standard operating procedures and documentation for operational activities
- Experience working with internal and external partners to improve admission operations
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Strong understanding of audit, compliance, and quality control best practices
- Attention to detail and enjoys data analysis, process improvement, and workflow development
- Strong organizational and time management skills, can balance multiple priorities and tasks
- Supervisory experience, including staff development, group management, and leadership skills
Pay
Salary Range $70,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience.
Location and Schedule
Location: Georgia Tech Main Campus – Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time position.
