About the role

The Senior Architectural Consultant is responsible for building the Pella brand within the architectural community as their premier choice for window and door solutions. The role involves developing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with architects and trade organizations, generating architectural project specifications, sales lead hand-offs, and continuing education opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with architects and trade organizations.
  • Develop architectural project specifications.
  • Generate sales leads and continue education opportunities for current and potential Pella customers.
  • Proactively originate new business relationships through networking, referrals, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Act as a product expert and brand steward.
  • Visit architect firms, job sites, attend association events, and create events/meetings at our Manhattan office.

Requirements

  • Live in the market.
  • Experience building relationships with architect firms in NYC.
  • Experience as a product expert and brand steward.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the architectural industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently.

Pay

The targeted salary range for this role is $100,000 - $119,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, specific work geography, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Schedule

The majority of time will be expected in field visiting architect firms, job sites, attending Association events, and creating events or meetings at our Manhattan office.
