Senior Architect / Senior Project Manager
Berglund Architects, a 15-person, well-established architectural firm with over 22 years of experience, is seeking a Senior Architect / Senior Project Manager with 10–15+ years of professional experience to join their team in Edwards, Colorado. The firm specializes in high-end residential architecture in the Vail Valley.
About the Role
This position is structured as a Principal / Equity Owner track, providing a pathway to long-term leadership and potential equity participation within the firm based on performance, leadership, and overall contribution.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage architectural projects from conception through completion
- Produce and oversee development of construction drawings
- Conduct construction observation and administration
- Mentor, teach, and lead architectural interns and designers
- Collaborate in a creative studio environment
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional architectural experience
- Licensed Architect (NCARB certification desired)
- Strong Revit proficiency
- Proven project management and team leadership experience
- Extensive experience producing construction drawings
- Significant construction observation/administration experience
- Strong graphic, written, and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and team-oriented with a collaborative mindset

Berglund Architects specializes in designing highly sustainable, cleanly detailed luxury Mountain Modern homes throughout Colorado, as well as modern contextual residential and commercial projects across the United States and internationally. In addition to architecture, the firm provides full interior design services and master planning. Location
The studio is located in Edwards, Colorado, approximately 12 miles west of Vail and just 2 miles from the Arrowhead Village ski lift at Beaver Creek Resort. The Vail Valley offers exceptional opportunities for an active outdoor lifestyle, including:

Pay
Salary: $160,000 – $200,000 depending on experience and design capability. Paid relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.
