Senior Architect & Full Stack Developer – Front Office Technology
Principal Responsibilities:
- Platform Ownership: Manage and enhance asset management analytics and performance reporting platforms.
- Workflow Automation: Collaborate with business users and technical peers to design and automate front-office workflows.
- End-to-End Delivery: Design and deliver full-stack solutions, encompassing front-end interfaces, back-end architecture, and deployment pipelines.
- Data & API Optimization: Review and optimize downstream/upstream data workflows and API integration solutions.
- Reporting Services: Develop and support critical reporting services for both internal and external deliverables.
- Production & Desk Support: Manage releases, provide production support for applications, and deliver quantitative support for the daily trading desk risk reports.
Technical Requirements:
- Front-End Development: Hands-on web development experience with JavaScript frameworks (specifically Angular), HTML, CSS, and modern web UI layout packages.
- Back-End & Scripting: Proficiency in C#/.NET (.NET Core), Python, and Node.js configurations.
- Cloud & DevOps: Practical experience with Docker, Azure, Git, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and VS Code.
- Data & Analytics: Familiarity with Power BI, Analysis Services, MS Azure Databricks, and Notebooks.
- Databases: Strong database design, querying, and performance-tuning experience with SQL Server or equivalent platforms.
- Tools: High fluency in Excel for data analysis, fixed-income pricing, and risk attribute tracking.
Domain Expertise & Qualifications:
- Fixed Income Knowledge: Strong background in fixed income, whole loans, or structured credit.
- Financial Datasets: Experience working with Portfolio Management, Mortgage, MBS, CMBS, or Loan datasets.
- Industry Tools: Familiarity with Bloomberg, Intex (Bond/Loan Level Pricing/Cashflow analysis), CoreLogic, and Agency Loan datasets.
- Collateral Analytics: Understanding of ABS/RMBS collateral deal performance metrics and third-party risk/pricing libraries.
Experience & Soft Skills:
- Experience Level: Typically 7–12 years of relevant experience, but open to high-achieving candidates with a minimum of 5 years of domain-specific experience.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; financial certifications are a plus.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical design and resolve complex architecture issues independently with minimal oversight.
- Execution: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, tactical environment and managing multiple urgent projects simultaneously.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with traders, portfolio managers, and executives.
Preferred Background: Prior experience within financial services, private equity, hedge funds, or investment banking front-office teams.
