About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technology Architect to lead enterprise architecture, solution design, and large-scale technology transformation initiatives. This role will be responsible for defining technology strategy, architecting scalable solutions, and driving innovation across AI, data, cloud, and enterprise application platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve enterprise architecture frameworks and technology roadmaps.

  • Align technology strategy with business objectives and industry best practices.

  • Lead the evaluation and selection of technology platforms, tools, and frameworks.

  • Design scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing enterprise architectures.

  • Establish architecture standards, governance processes, and best practices.

  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture and implementation initiatives.

  • Drive all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Create high-level and detailed architecture designs for complex enterprise applications.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and architecture teams.

  • Ensure quality, scalability, performance, and security of delivered solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions.

  • Design and implement AI/ML-enabled solutions and intelligent automation capabilities.

  • Architect scalable data platforms supporting real-time and batch data processing.

  • Enable predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities for business decision-making.

  • Promote data governance, quality, and regulatory compliance.

  • Drive adoption of emerging technologies including Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and advanced analytics.

  • Engage with clients and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and define solution strategies.

  • Participate in pre-sales activities, solution proposals, proof of concepts, and client presentations.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and technology consulting throughout project lifecycles.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

  • Mentor architects, developers, analysts, and engineering teams.

  • Drive adoption of reusable frameworks, assets, and architectural best practices.

  • Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

  • Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Support project estimation, planning, and delivery governance activities.

  • Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends.

  • Develop technology assets, accelerators, white papers, and reusable frameworks.

  • Contribute to capability development and competency-building initiatives.

  • Promote innovation through automation, AI, and modern architectural practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, or a related discipline.

  • 12–18 years of experience as related to the job description.

  • Proven experience leading large-scale software implementation and digital transformation programs.

  • Hands-on expertise in: Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, Hibernate.

  • Strong knowledge of: Kafka/Event-Driven Architecture, API Management, Oracle Database, MongoDB, ETL Technologies, Node.js.

  • Experience designing and implementing Microservices-based architectures.

  • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.

  • Experience in Life Insurance and/or Annuities domain operations and technology platforms.

  • Expertise with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Experience with Big Data, Data Engineering, and Enterprise Analytics solutions.

  • Proficiency in: Python, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn.

  • Experience working with: Angular, Drools, JBPM, Enterprise Workflow Solutions.

  • Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM) platforms and methodologies.

  • Experience implementing Generative AI, NLP, Intelligent Automation, or Computer Vision solutions.

  • Technical certifications in Cloud, AI/ML, Architecture, or related technologies.

  • Experience supporting underwriting, policy administration, claims, risk management, or other insurance operations.

  • Experience working with global delivery models, including onsite, offshore, and nearshore teams.

  • Demonstrated success driving architecture governance and enterprise technology strategy.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

  • Proven mentoring, coaching, and people leadership capabilities.

  • High learning agility and ability to adapt to emerging technologies and changing business needs.
