Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Senior Architect or Architectural Engineer for our Civil & Structural Engineering Practice in Menlo Park, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Irvine, CA; Seattle, WA; or Denver, CO. In this role, you will work as part of a team to help lead and further grow our engineering/architectural consulting services regionally and will be a key member of our national practice.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to help lead and further grow our engineering/architectural consulting services regionally and nationally.
• Conduct inspections, analyses, and determinations of root causes of building envelope and building material failures.
• Perform analytical and computer problem-solving.
• Conduct field investigations and diagnostic surveys.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Market to new and existing clients.
• Successfully manage projects.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering or Architecture, or M.S. in Architectural Engineering or Architecture, with at least 2-3 years of consulting experience related to buildings, or 6 years of consulting experience related to buildings.
• Presently legally authorized to work in the United States.
• No immigration sponsorship or processing required.
• Professional license in Engineering (PE) or Architecture (AIA).
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to synthesize technical information and present it to specialists and non-specialists alike.
• Clear written communication and technical writing skills are required.
• A proven dedication to quality and accuracy.
• Versatile, team-oriented, willing to work overtime and travel when required.
