Our Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Senior Architect or Architectural Engineer for our Civil & Structural Engineering Practice in Menlo Park, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Irvine, CA; Seattle, WA; or Denver, CO. In this role, you will work as part of a team to help lead and further grow our engineering/architectural consulting services regionally and will be a key member of our national practice.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to help lead and further grow our engineering/architectural consulting services regionally and nationally.
- Conduct inspections, analyses, and determinations of root causes of building envelope and building material failures.
- Perform analytical and computer problem-solving.
- Conduct field investigations and diagnostic surveys.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Market to new and existing clients.
- Successfully manage projects.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering or Architecture, with at least 2-3 years of consulting experience related to buildings, or a M.S. in Architectural Engineering or Architecture, with at least 6 years of consulting experience related to buildings.
- Presently legally authorized to work in the United States. No immigration sponsorship or processing required.
- Professional license in Engineering (PE) or Architecture (AIA).
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to synthesize technical information and present it to specialists and non-specialists alike.
- Clear written communication and technical writing skills are required.
- A proven dedication to quality and accuracy.
- Versatile, team-oriented, willing to work overtime and travel when required.
