Senior Apprenticeship Consultant
About the Role
The Senior Apprenticeship Consultant (PQR Senior Consultant) for the Program Quality and Review (PQR) Unit is a first-level, working supervisor responsible for ensuring proper adherence to and maintenance of current operations, overseeing the implementation of new initiatives and procedures, and supervising Apprenticeship Consultants (PQR Consultant) and Analysts II (PQR Analyst) within the unit.
This position reports to the Program Quality Staff Services Manager II and may be used to fill future vacancies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure adherence to current operational procedures within the PQR Unit.
- Oversee the implementation of new initiatives and procedures affecting unit operations.
- Supervise Apprenticeship Consultants (PQR Consultant) and Analysts II (PQR Analyst).
- Propose, develop, and implement new or improved processes to enhance programmatic efficiency.

Statement of Qualifications
Applicants must submit a Statement of Qualifications on a separate 8½ x 11 sheet of paper, titled "Statement of Qualifications." This statement must:
- Provide a detailed example of a time when you proposed, created, developed, and implemented a new or improved process or procedure that contributed to a significant improvement in programmatic efficiency.
- Be typewritten in no smaller than Arial 12-point font.
- Be limited to two pages.

Working Conditions
- Location: 1750 Howe Ave., Ste. 350, Sacramento, CA 95825.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week in an office setting.
- Environment: Air-conditioned, multi-floor building with elevator access and cubicle workspace. Majority of work will be at DAS Headquarters or other locations throughout California. May require remote work with proper office equipment.
- Tools: Standard office equipment (computer, printer/copier/scanner/fax, stapler, hole punch, filing systems).
- Physical demands: Long periods of sitting or driving; exposure to typical office or vehicle noise and vibration.
- Potential hazards: Inclement weather or other environmental factors during travel.
