About the role
To design, develop, and improve software utilizing various engineering methodologies that provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. This role ensures critical applications run seamlessly while driving innovation and operational excellence in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration with business objectives.
- Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and contribute to the organization’s technology communities.
- Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
- Provide Pega Production Support, Application Troubleshooting, and Enterprise Integration Support.
- Manage Incident, Problem, and Technology Transformation with extensive ITIL knowledge.
- Support Client Onboarding, KYC, and Regulatory Workflows within a Wholesale Banking environment.
- Enhance Operational Resilience, Stability Engineering, Monitoring, and Automation capabilities.
- Engage in Problem Management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Utilize monitoring, observability, and data analysis to deliver actionable insights.
- Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and ensure operational effectiveness.
- Lead or collaborate on complex assignments, guiding team members and identifying new project directions.
- Consult on complex issues and provide advice to support resolution of escalations.
- Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures for control and governance.
- Perform complex data analysis from multiple internal and external sources to solve problems creatively.
- Communicate complex or sensitive information effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements
- Experience in Pega Production Support, Application Troubleshooting, and Enterprise Integration Support.
- Extensive ITIL knowledge with experience in Incident, Problem, and Technology Transformation.
- Experience with Client Onboarding, KYC, and Regulatory Workflows in Wholesale Banking.
- Skills in Operational Resilience, Stability Engineering, Monitoring, and Automation.
- Proficiency in SQL, Linux/Unix, Stakeholder Engagement, and Continuous Improvement.
- Sense of accountability and proactivity, with the ability to drive issues to resolution.
- Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), including monitoring and service resilience.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and data analysis for actionable insights.
- Understanding of Wholesale Banking and Client Onboarding processes and technologies.

Pay
Base salary range: $120,000 – $175,000. This range includes only base salary and does not encompass other compensation or benefits.
