About the Role

This position leads in the analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of new and existing application systems used within Renown Health entities. The role partners with the user community to resolve technical problems, application performance issues, and leads optimization and enhancement efforts. It oversees the design, configuration, testing, and support of files and system changes within assigned products, including system administration functions. The incumbent serves as a primary contact for external users for designated product(s) and assists in leading large projects. This position actively pursues research and development to ensure continued technology innovation aligned with Renown's values and policies.

Responsibilities include managing a complex healthcare system application environment that evolves rapidly to meet the needs of a growing enterprise. The role involves application analysis, project coordination, customer support, security administration, training, and liaison with customers. It provides technical support, education, and maintenance for assigned applications and interfaces across the entire Health System.

Responsibilities

  • Provide internal project coordination for assigned applications and system upgrades, partnering with the project management team on strategic projects.
  • Lead the analysis, design, testing, and implementation of new and existing systems for assigned applications.
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders to resolve technical problems, application performance issues, and lead optimization and enhancement efforts.
  • Manage all assigned application security, including user provisioning.
  • Support the user community by addressing service desk calls and tickets related to assigned applications.
  • Serve as the conduit for submission of work requests, advising requestors on work scheduling, technical feasibility, technology compatibility, integration, and interfacing.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including standards for naming and numbering conventions, change control, environment management, and security classifications.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work on multiple tasks with high-quality results and adherence to deadlines.
  • Develop Level of Effort estimates and track actual time worked accurately.

Requirements

  • Working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, healthcare, science, business field, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience working in an Information Technology or Healthcare setting.
  • 6+ years of healthcare application analysis or application configuration and support experience.
  • Experience with the specific application related to the position is preferred.
  • Years of experience in a business or operational capacity involving the use of the tools and systems supported by this position may substitute for application configuration and support experience.
  • Project Management experience preferred.
  • Application Certification, Accreditation, or Proficiency may be required for specific applications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
