Major Responsibilities
- Initiate and develop advanced process control (APC) concepts and roll out in production area
- Identify and initiate projects in the fields of expertise (Dynamic Modeling, Operator Training Simulators, Advanced Control and Model Predictive Control as well as multivariate data analysis)
- Cookordinate projects with various stakeholders (AI Engineers, PCT engineers, production units, process engineers)
- Initiate, set up and execute operator training (OTS) simulator projects.
- Development of dynamic simulation models for chemical and polymer production processes
- Advanced process control and automation implementation best practices.
Developmental Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related degree with 4+ years’ experience OR Master’s degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related degree with 2+ years’ experience OR PhD in Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related degree with 1+ years’ experience
- The eligibility to apply for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within a reasonable timeframe
