Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the frontend architecture strategy for a large, multi-module Angular platform using micro-frontends and Module Federation.
  • Establish practical UI engineering standards for Angular, TypeScript, state management, signals, real-time data patterns, accessibility, and maintainable component design.
  • Own the shared design system approach, including component library governance, Storybook, design tokens, theming, stylesheets, and cross-application consistency.
  • Guide DevOps and developer experience for frontend, including dependency management, build tooling, testing frameworks, CI/CD, and release practices.
  • Drive frontend performance best practices such as bundle optimization, lazy loading, and runtime performance monitoring.
  • Partner with product, design, architecture, and engineering teams to align UI strategy with product goals and mentor teams toward consistent implementation.
  • Evaluate emerging frontend technologies and AI-assisted development practices to improve UX, UI delivery, and developer productivity.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of frontend engineering experience, including significant hands-on work with modern Angular and TypeScript.
  • Proven experience leading frontend architecture for complex SaaS platforms, preferably with micro-frontends (module federation) and multi-team UI delivery.
  • Deep understanding of design systems, shared component libraries, Storybook, styling architecture, tokens, accessibility, and reusable UI patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of modern frontend tooling and practices, including Nx or similar build systems, testing frameworks, CI/CD, versioning, and dependency management.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve frontend performance, scalability, maintainability, and developer experience across multiple teams.
  • Ability to communicate architectural direction clearly, influence cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical depth.
  • Bachelor’s degree required for candidate consideration. MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a plus.
