Senior and Entry Level Construction Materials Testing Field Technician - Dayton, Ohio

About the role

Patriot Engineering and Environmental, Inc. is seeking experienced and entry-level Construction Engineering Technicians to perform soils, concrete, asphalt, and reinforcing steel testing on construction projects. This position will work out of our Dayton, OH office and involves both field and lab work.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and observations in the field on soil, reinforcing steel, concrete, and asphalt.
• Document and report test results (basic experience with MS Excel is required).
• Assist in the lab as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License (required).
• Reliable transportation.
• All employment is contingent upon results of a drug screen and background check.
• Construction experience: 1 year (preferred).
• ACI, ICC, or OSHA certifications (preferred; will determine pay rate).

Pay

$19.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience and certifications).

Schedule

• Full-time position.
• 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
• Overtime, occasional weekend, or after-hours work available and sometimes required.
• On-call and weekends as needed.
