About the role
We are a multi-faceted civil engineering firm seeking experienced and entry-level engineering inspectors to perform soils, concrete, asphalt, and reinforcing steels testing on construction-related projects. This position will work out of our Indianapolis, IN office.
No experience is necessary for entry-level roles as we provide training. However, experience performing CME field work and certifications (e.g., ACI, ICC, OSHA) will determine your pay rate.
Responsibilities
- Perform tests and observations in the field on soil, reinforcing steel, concrete, and asphalt.
- Document and report test results; basic experience with MS Excel is required.
- Assist in the lab as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Required).
- Reliable transportation.
- ACI or ICC Certifications (Preferred).
- Construction experience: 1 year (Preferred).
All employment is contingent upon results of a drug screen and background check.
Pay
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience and certifications).
Schedule
- Full-time, hourly position.
- 10-hour or 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Overtime, occasional weekend, or after-hours work is available and sometimes required.
