Key Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, qualify, and transfer analytical test methods for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
- Perform complex chemical analyses and interpret analytical data to support manufacturing, quality, and R&D initiatives
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation including: HPLC, GC, DSC, FTIR, UV-Vis, GPC, particle size analysis, NIR, auto-titrators
- Lead and support investigation studies, including out-of-specification (OOS) investigations
- Execute analytical method development plans and maintain accurate technical documentation
- Collaborate with technical teams on research projects, product introductions, and non-conforming material investigations
- Troubleshoot analytical and physical property testing issues to ensure accurate and timely results
- Prepare technical summaries and reports to support regulatory and quality compliance requirements
- Care for equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, and calibration activities
- Identify instrumentation improvements and support capital justification initiatives
- Manage third-party laboratory service vendors and contracts as needed
- Mentorship and technical guidance to junior chemists and laboratory staff
- Support GMP and ISO compliance initiatives within the laboratory environment
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry with 5+ years of related industry experience, OR Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry with 10+ years of related experience
- Strong background in: Analytical method development, Method validation, Technical transfer activities, GMP-regulated environments

Work Environment
- Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Occasional travel between sites may be required
- Flexibility to support operational needs outside standard business hours when necessary
