What You Will Enjoy Doing

  • You are expected to have the ability to perform analyses of trace metals in electronic gases and mixtures using ICP-MS techniques with a minimum of direction.
  • Perform routine maintenance or troubleshooting of ICP-MS instrumentation and sample preparation panels.
  • Develop new analytical methods for trace metals analysis of electronic gases.
  • Demonstrate the project management skills to complete analytical projects on time.
  • Analyze test data using robust data analysis techniques.
  • Display safe laboratory skills in handling gases.
  • Have strong teamworking skills and the ability to work effectively with product development laboratory personnel and with cross-functional engineering groups.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing to support project updates and final reports.
  • Develop new analytical methods to maintain state-of-the-art analytical capability to support Linde’s electronic gas business.
  • Provide technical support for plant and customer problems and issues.
  • Provide technical training for less senior laboratory personnel.

What Makes You Great

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field required, advanced degree is preferred.
  • You have at least five years’ experience in an analytical laboratory.
  • You demonstrate the experience with hands-on ICP-MS sample preparation, ICP-MS operation and trouble shooting.
  • You are fluent in Microsoft Office and statistical software.
