About the role

We are seeking a talented Senior Analyst specializing in Oracle Risk Management Cloud Service (RMCS), Access Controls, and Risk Management. In this contract role, you will support the design, governance, and administration of controls within Oracle RMCS, partnering with Finance, Internal Audit, Compliance, Security, and ERP teams to ensure effective access management and risk mitigation strategies. This position is expected to be a 6-month contract with potential extension or conversion to full-time employment based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support for Oracle RMCS and related financial applications.
  • Analyze and assess RMCS configurations, user roles, and access models to align with compliance standards.
  • Identify and remediate Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts and access risks within Oracle Cloud applications.
  • Design, evaluate, and maintain access controls, including role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks.
  • Document, model, and support the implementation of financial and operational controls across Oracle environments.
  • Support SOX compliance efforts through test planning, walkthroughs, and remediation activities.
  • Assist in preparing audit documentation, evidence, and process explanations for internal and external audits.
  • Develop data queries and analyze application security data to support risk assessments and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and improve internal control environments.
  • Monitor and report on compliance metrics and control effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle RMCS and Oracle Cloud Financial applications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and remediating Segregation of Duties (SoD) violations.
  • Strong practical knowledge of access controls, security governance, and role design principles.
  • Experience designing, documenting, and evaluating financial and IT controls supporting SOX compliance.
  • Proven ability to support audit activities and prepare compliance documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Location in the U.S., with a preference for candidates in the Central Time Zone.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Financial Modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), or Procurement.
  • Familiarity with Oracle RMC modules including Access Certification, Advanced Access Controls, and Transaction Controls Monitoring.
  • Knowledge of other GRC platforms or risk management solutions.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Professional certifications related to GRC, risk management, or security are a plus.

Pay

$47.60 – $68.00 per hour
