About the Role
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Analyst, Key Account Management Insights – JJMT Surgery US to join our MedTech Surgery business. This role is based in Raritan, NJ, with alternate locations in Cincinnati, OH or New Brunswick, NJ. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Enabling an insights-based commercial ecosystem is a critical growth accelerator for J&J MedTech. The Senior Analyst, Customer Insights (Sales) is responsible for delivering account-level insights and analytics as part of a broader end-to-end performance assessment of commercial strategy and execution for JJMT Surgery. This includes supporting connected field sales, key account management, marketing, KPI measurement, and deal performance while driving insights to improve effectiveness and efficiency in day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver customer insights as part of JJMT Surgery / Ethicon’s “data & insights ecosystem,” scaling and operationalizing insights sharing to progress toward proactive and predictive analytics.
- Partner with Data Science, IT, FSO Insights, and Offer Development to develop innovative approaches for improving operating efficiency, eliminating redundant steps, and automating manual work.
- Execute the Connected Account Planning process (SSL+FSO+KAM+Marketing+etc.) and other integrated measurement and optimization approaches.
- Proactively identify opportunities for business performance improvements and collaborate with KAM team members, finance, marketing, and IT.
- Support system/customer-level strategic planning, financial planning, and ongoing performance measurement and optimization processes.
- Drive intuitive, user-friendly reporting and solutions across the business, ensuring an environment for success exists.
- Deliver metrics for Key Account Management and other teams linked to commercial strategy, deal excellence, and performance targets.
- Maintain Area Rosters, track deal performance, and ensure alignment to create win-win outcomes.
- Lead business planning and targeting initiatives, raising organizational understanding of accounts, procedures, products, contracts, IDNs, competition, and market dynamics.
- Serve as a change agent for critical commercial transformation initiatives and represent key customer insights with field sales and key account management organizations.
- Foster an open environment for sharing perspectives on current events and feedback to improve analytics capabilities.
- Recognize team members' contributions to projects and major initiatives.
Requirements
- BS/BA in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of work/industry experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in finance, analytics, or data analysis.
Skills
- Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Power BI).
- Experience with data analysis techniques (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Python, R).
- Extensive experience partnering with and leading cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of data analysis and the field sales/contracting landscape to build impactful trend analyses.
- Ability to identify shortcomings in systems, processes, or tools and drive effective solutions.
- Strong project management, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written/verbal communication and presentation skills for various levels of management.
- Strong interdependent partnering, influence, and consensus-building skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a complex, constantly evolving, matrixed organization.
- Approximately 15% domestic travel required.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or MS or other advanced degree, including healthcare.
- Leadership experience with field sales, information management/IT, contracting, and/or marketing.
- Superior understanding of data analysis and the field sales/contracting landscape.
- Understanding of planning, execution, and measurement of sales and contracting processes.
- Experience with Business, Key Account Management Planning Process, and/or Deal Performance.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and product development processes.
- Experience partnering with marketing, field sales, and IT organizations.
- ETL experience (e.g., Databricks, AWS, Snowflake).

Pay
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $79,000.00 - $127,650.00. This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan, awarded at the Company’s discretion based on individual and corporate performance.
