About the Role
The Senior Analyst, Customer Insights (Sales) Insights is responsible for delivering account-level insights and analytics as part of a broader end-to-end performance assessment of commercial strategy & execution for JJMT Surgery. This role will communicate and drive insights while uncovering broader trends to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Key Account Management (KAM) and leadership in day-to-day operations, as well as level-up deal performance in support of strategic growth priorities.
This position is located at our Raritan, NJ site, with alternate site locations of Cincinnati, OH or New Brunswick, NJ. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities
- Deliver customer insights as part of JJMT Surgery’s “data & insights ecosystem,” scaling and operationalizing insights sharing to progress toward proactive and predictive analytics.
- Partner with Data Science, IT, Field Sales Operations (FSO) Insights, and Offer Development to develop innovative approaches for improving operating efficiency, eliminating redundant steps, and automating manual work.
- Execute the Connected Account Planning process (SSL+FSO+KAM+Marketing+etc.) and other integrated measurement and optimization approaches.
- Proactively identify opportunities for business performance improvements and collaborate with KAM team members, finance, marketing, and IT.
- Support system/customer-level strategic planning, financial planning, and ongoing performance measurement and optimization processes.
- Identify opportunities and gaps aligned with overall business growth strategies.
- Drive intuitive, user-friendly reporting (reports and solutions) across the business by partnering with internal teams to ensure an environment for success.
- Deliver metrics for Key Account Management and other teams linked to commercial strategy, deal excellence, and performance targets; share key assessments and best practices.
- Drive pull-through and shared accountability to metrics and approach.
- Maintain Area Rosters, track deal performance, and ensure alignment to create win-win deals.
- Lead business planning and targeting initiatives, raising organizational understanding of Accounts, Procedures, Products, Contracts, IDNs, Competition, and Market Dynamics.
- Serve as a change agent for critical commercial transformation initiatives and represent key Customer Insights with Field Sales and Key Account Management organizations.
- Foster an open environment for team members to share perspectives on current events and feedback on improving analytics capabilities.
- Recognize team members' contributions to projects and major initiatives.
Requirements
- BS/BA in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of work/industry experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in Finance, analytics, or data analysis.
Skills
- Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Power BI preferred).
- Experience with data analysis techniques (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Python, R).
- Extensive experience partnering with and leading cross-functional teams and organizational build-out.
- Understanding of data analysis and the field sales/contracting landscape to build impactful trend analyses.
- Ability to identify shortcomings in systems, processes, or tools and drive effective solutions for process improvements.
- Ability to develop effective strategies and translate them into tactical activities to improve sales force effectiveness, including sales planning tools.
- Strong collaboration skills in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Strong interdependent partnering, influence, and consensus-building skills.
- Strong project management and creative problem-solving skills.
- Effective written/verbal communication and presentation skills for various levels of management.
- Ability to travel approximately 15% domestically.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or MS or other advanced degree, including healthcare.
- Leadership experience with Field Sales, Information Management/Information Technology, Contracting, and/or Marketing organizations.
- Superior understanding of data analysis and the field sales/contracting landscape to build impactful trend analyses.
- Understanding of planning, execution, and measurement of sales and contracting processes.
- Understanding of Business, Key Account Management Planning Process, and/or Deal Performance.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and product development processes.
- Experience partnering with Marketing, Field Sales, and Information Management/Information Technology organizations.
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Databricks, AWS, Snowflake).

Pay
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $79,000.00 - $127,650.00. This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
