Senior Analyst - HRIS
About the Role
As the Senior Analyst - HRIS, you will process and analyze employee information using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). You will design, implement, and analyze reports to determine overall organizational trends. You will ensure systems integration and upgrades by collaborating and communicating with colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between business, human resources director, process owners, and 3rd party development vendor for all HRIS systems needs.
- Mentor business representatives through the software development lifecycle and support new functionality and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical, operations, and training support to HRIS users through documentation, end-user training, and clear communication of changes, enhancements, or production issues to IT, payroll, human resources, and other affected parties.
- Manage HRIS projects with minimal supervision and escalate issues to supervisor.
- Manage application and reporting system support requests and provide ad hoc reporting to support business functions.
- Manage data loads by performing data scrubbing before loads and data validation after completion.
- Handle acquisition tasks, including security setup and coordination with IT resources and team members.
- Analyze HRIS systems to research and identify root causes for data problems, including system limitations, design issues, user errors, or lack of standard procedures for accurate ongoing administration.
- Recommend, test, train, document, implement, and plan improvements, enhancements, and new applications for HR systems while promoting standardization and best practices across regional business.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred.
- 5 years of direct experience supporting human resources is required.
- 3–5 years of direct experience with HRIS systems; Oracle HCM Cloud knowledge.
- 3–5 years of intermediate-level knowledge of SQL on Oracle database environment.
- 3–5 years of data analytics experience.
- Supported and enhanced AI-enabled features within the HRIS environment preferred.
- Experience with Incorta, UKG Pro Payroll/Workforce Management, and/or ADP Celergo highly preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to understand functional requirements and write technical documents to implement new functionality.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Understanding of human resources processes, including succession planning, recruitment, performance management, compensation planning, and employee life cycle.
Pay
$89,928 – $121,403 annually. This amount reflects the range Wesco reasonably believes it will pay for the position, though final offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or collective bargaining agreements. For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan.
