Senior Analyst - High & Heavy

Responsibilities

• Support daily transportation and supply chain operations, including Drayage, OTR (Over-the-Road), Intermodal, Warehousing, and Distribution services.
• Cook up transportation schedules, shipment planning, dispatch activities, and logistics requirements based on customer needs.
• Collaborate with carriers, warehouses, ports, rail providers, customers, and internal departments to ensure efficient and reliable logistics operations.
• Monitor daily transportation activities and operational performance to ensure compliance with customer requirements, service level agreements (SLAs), and operational standards.
• Serve as a key operational contact for customers, carriers, and logistics partners.
• Provide regular updates on shipment status, transportation activities, project progress, and operational performance.
• Respond to urgent transportation requests, customer escalations, and operational issues by coordinating with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of transportation, logistics, and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to maintain accurate records and prepare operational documentation.
• Able to follow established procedures, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Able to identify operational issues and appropriately escalate concerns.
• Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work effectively with customers, carriers, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-5 years of Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics experience

Skills

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $54,784 - $59,765 per year (subject to compensation study upon candidate selection).
