Key Responsibilities

  • Affirms the effectiveness of compensation programs, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring they align with organizational objectives.
  • Manages annual compensation reviews, ensuring timely and accurate execution of salary adjustments, bonuses, and incentive programs.
  • Coaches less experienced staff on compensation principles and practices, providing guidance and support for more complex tasks.
  • Conducts more complex compensation analyses to evaluate the company’s position within the market and ensure internal equity.
  • Collaborates with managers and People & Culture (P&C) leaders to interpret and implement compensation strategies across various departments.
  • Defines compensation structures and job evaluation processes to ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Designs systems to support compensation management, including developing tools and resources to improve decision-making.
  • Develops more complex compensation models to predict future pay scales and analyze the financial impact of compensation programs.
  • Implements processes to ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry-specific compensation regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience

  • Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
  • Years of Experience: 5-7 Years
  • Preferred Education & Experience: Master's Degree
  • Specialized Degree: None
  • Licenses/Certificates: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Years of Experience: 8-11 Years
  • Field of Expertise: Human Resources, Business Management, Finance, or related field; experience with SuccessFactors, CompXL, JDXpert
  • Spans of Control: Not Specified
