Position Summary
The Senior Compensation Analyst leads advanced compensation analyses and provides strategic, data-driven insights to support the company’s compensation philosophy, programs, and regulatory compliance. This role extends beyond execution to include independent problem-solving, thought partnership with HR and business leaders, and ownership of complex analyses and reporting solutions.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Liaise with Operations and other departments to understand business needs and advise on compensation-related data insights.
- Create and govern dashboards to support tracking and monitoring of new compensation policies and program implementations.
- Evaluate positions using job evaluation methodologies, market pricing, and internal equity; make data-driven recommendations.
- Review and analyze compensation workflow processes; recommend and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all compensation programs comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Contribute to broader compensation strategy discussions by providing data-backed perspectives and scenario modeling.
- Provide guidance and technical mentorship to Compensation Analysts, supporting analytical rigor and best practices.
Qualifications And Education
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in building Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
- Proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel, including the ability to interpret and manipulate complex datasets.
- Experience with HRIS systems such as JD Edwards is a plus.
- Familiarity with compensation policies, procedures, and practices, including CBA knowledge preferred.
