About the role
The Senior Analyst, Business Analytics supports merchandising and product strategy through data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. It delivers assortment performance insights, manages reporting for internal teams and design partners, and supports assortment optimization and data accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product and Brand Development teams to provide recurring and ad hoc reports on various assortment performance activities and measures to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop, manage, and deliver regular assortment and business performance reports to design partners.
- Support comprehensive assortment review processes to evaluate the success of assortment strategies and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Prepare presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Support Product Development team in product data management and lead data validation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Planning, Sales, and Design to ensure alignment on merchandising strategies and goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of seven (7) years or more of full-time experience in Analytics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a consumable manner.
- Proficient in Power BI and working with coding languages such as SQL or VBA.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and deliver results.
- Experience improving/automating processes.
- Strong data visualization skills.
- Experience working with/analyzing large amounts of data.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, promoting positive work relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Capacity to utilize effective time management skills and be able to work under the stress of multiple deadlines, requests from other departments, and interruptions with accuracy.
- Capacity to be self-motivated and achieve goals with minimal supervision or direction.
- Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree from a school accredited by the U.S. Department of Education with specialization in economics, business, finance, or a related field.
