An SEC-registered investment advisor with over $6 billion in assets under management, specializing in commercial real estate debt and related securities, is seeking a Senior Analyst for its Corporate Accounting Group.
Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end financial statements and related components for the special loan servicing subsidiary.
- Calculate, report, and maintain accurate revenue records for non-performing and performing loans.
- Manage the accounts payable process and associated vendor relationships.
- Manage the annual vendor risk assessment and due diligence process.
- Assist with the treasury function for corporate entities and REO assets, including preparation of wire/ACH payments and account management.
- Prepare expense allocations and billbacks to the funds for costs borne by the management company.
- Prepare daily and monthly cash and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare semi-monthly payroll and assist with other aspects of the Human Resources function as needed.
- Assist with annual audits for the management company and subsidiary as needed.
- Assist the Controller and other team members with various ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA license preferred.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in asset management and/or public accounting with asset management industry clients is preferred.
- High proficiency with Excel is required.
- Understanding of Sage Intacct, SAP Concur, and IntegriData EAS software is a plus.
- Strong understanding and application of US GAAP is preferred.
Pay
Salary: $100,000 – $110,000, plus bonus.
