Senior Analyst - Asset Management
About the role
The Asset Management Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial analysis and underwriting on leasing strategies, renovation plans, and other project and portfolio level ROI opportunities. This role will create and maintain cash flow valuation models in Argus and Excel, participate in the development/refinement of annual asset specific strategic business plans and budgets, assist in the evaluation and due diligence for potential acquisitions and dispositions, review monthly accruals and financial statements, update monthly and quarterly reporting for lenders, partners and senior executives, prepare other analysis as needed to support the asset management and leasing teams, and assist senior team members in preparing Investment Committee memoranda.
Responsibilities
- Providing financial analysis and underwriting on leasing strategies, renovation plans, and other project and portfolio level ROI opportunities.
- Creating and maintaining cash flow valuation models in Argus and Excel.
- Participating in the development/refinement of annual asset specific strategic business plans and budgets.
- Assisting in the evaluation and due diligence for potential acquisitions and dispositions.
- Reviewing monthly accruals and financial statements to ensure accuracy, correct issues, and evaluate property performance in relation to market trends.
- Updating monthly and quarterly reporting for lenders, partners and senior executives and ensuring compliance with agreement obligations.
- Preparing other analysis as needed to support the asset management and leasing teams.
- Aid in the preparation of Investment Committee memoranda.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of real estate investments, asset management, or acquisitions experience with an exceptional academic record, superior quantitative skills, analytical abilities, advanced proficiency with Excel and shortcuts, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Experience with Argus and Yardi strongly preferred.
- Candidates should be conscientious, self-directed and entrepreneurial with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with teams.
- The candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and must demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of real estate investments, asset management, or acquisitions experience.

- Advanced proficiency with Excel and shortcuts.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Experience with Argus and Yardi.
Benefits
