The Environmental team is seeking an experienced Senior Air Quality Professional to join the team in the South Division, with positions available in Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; and Atlanta, GA. The role provides environmental and engineering technical support for air quality compliance programs and may include multi‑media environmental compliance support. The successful candidate will join Kleinfelder’s compliance hub of environmental experts, supporting projects regionally and nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Prepare emission inventories
• Develop permit applications
• Conduct regulatory review
• Maintain compliance recordkeeping
• Prepare greenhouse gas reporting
• Interact with clients and regulatory agencies
• Mentor junior level staff on technical work
• Communicate with clients
• Provide multi‑media environmental compliance support, including stormwater permitting, SPCC plan development, waste management support, compliance auditing, and industrial hygiene support
• Perform site assessment and groundwater remediation support
