Join Turing as the founding Field Engineering hire reporting to the CRO. You will lead technical discovery and build production-grade code-generation demos for the world’s leading AI labs. By bridging the gap between frontier research and commercial impact, you’ll define the playbook for scaling expert human data and SWE-focused evaluations.
About the role
- Lead technical discovery and solution architecture for frontier labs, translating complex research needs into scoped Turing deliverables like custom datasets and agentic scaffolds.
- Build high-fidelity, code-driven prototypes and demos—not just slide decks—to prove Turing’s technical depth in code understanding and model evaluation.
- Own the end-to-end success of paid pilots, designing measurement plans and success criteria to convert technical proof-of-concepts into long-term enterprise scale-ups.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex research needs into scoped Turing deliverables like custom datasets and agentic scaffolds.
- Build high-fidelity, code-driven prototypes and demos—not just slide decks—to prove Turing’s technical depth in code understanding and model evaluation.

Requirements
- 5+ years of software or ML engineering experience with production-level expertise in code-generation, developer tooling, or agentic systems using Python and modern LLM stacks.
- Deep familiarity with code model evaluations, including rubric design, grader reliability, and industry benchmarks like SWE-bench or LiveCodeBench.
- Proven commercial instinct with prior experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or field engineering at an AI/ML or developer-tools company.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
- Experience with code model evaluations, including rubric design, grader reliability, and industry benchmarks like SWE-bench or LiveCodeBench.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable solutions.
Skills
- Python programming language.
