About the role
Join a cutting-edge team building next-generation AI systems in a U.S.-based hybrid/remote environment as a full-time Senior AI Engineer II. You’ll work with modern technologies including LLMs, Python, Go, TypeScript, AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, and agentic AI frameworks to develop intelligent systems that power autonomous workflows, decision-making, and customer-facing experiences, within a highly secure and compliant environment.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with production-level ML/LLM systems
- Programming experience in Python, Go, or TypeScript
- LLMs, agentic systems, or applied AI architectures
- Backend engineering expertise across APIs, distributed systems, and data pipelines
- Cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP) and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of schema design, validation, and state management
- AI-assisted development workflows
- Building and shipping systems used by real users
Desired Skills & Experience
- Building AI systems in regulated environments
- RAG pipelines, vector databases, and AI evaluation tooling
- Kafka or event-driven architectures
- Experience contributing to shared AI platforms or infrastructure
- Open-source contributions in AI or developer tooling
- Startup or early-stage engineering experience
