About the role

Join a cutting-edge team building next-generation AI systems in a U.S.-based hybrid/remote environment as a full-time Senior AI Engineer II. You’ll work with modern technologies including LLMs, Python, Go, TypeScript, AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, and agentic AI frameworks to develop intelligent systems that power autonomous workflows, decision-making, and customer-facing experiences, within a highly secure and compliant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work on autonomous AI systems that can reason, act, and adapt across complex workflows.
  • Thrive in ambiguity and push AI into meaningful, real-world applications.
  • Gain exposure to enterprise-scale AI challenges, cutting-edge tooling, and a culture that emphasizes growth, and innovation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with production-level ML/LLM systems
  • Programming experience in Python, Go, or TypeScript
  • LLMs, agentic systems, or applied AI architectures
  • Backend engineering expertise across APIs, distributed systems, and data pipelines
  • Cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP) and Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of schema design, validation, and state management
  • AI-assisted development workflows
  • Building and shipping systems used by real users

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Building AI systems in regulated environments
  • RAG pipelines, vector databases, and AI evaluation tooling
  • Kafka or event-driven architectures
  • Experience contributing to shared AI platforms or infrastructure
  • Open-source contributions in AI or developer tooling
  • Startup or early-stage engineering experience
