Senior AI Developer Tech Lead

About the role

Lead the development and implementation of AI-focused workflows across the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Design and architect scalable AI systems from scratch in greenfield environments, ensuring robust and efficient solutions. Mentor and groom junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Utilize AI assistance tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code to streamline development tasks and improve code quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate low-level design artifacts into structured specifications that guide AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of AI-focused workflows across the SDLC.
• Design and architect scalable AI systems from scratch in greenfield environments.
• Mentor and groom junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Utilize AI assistance tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code to streamline development tasks and improve code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate low-level design artifacts into structured specifications.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (12+ years) in large-scale software engineering, particularly with Java, Spring, cloud development, and Web Services supporting high-volume transactions.
• Hands-on experience (2+ years) with AI/ML implementation and deployment in production environments.
• Proficiency in containerization and microservices architecture, with at least 6 years of experience in cloud deployment and CI/CD practices.
• Strong familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, Aerospike, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with large language models like GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, or PaLM.
• Proven leadership experience as a Tech Lead or Team Lead, with the ability to mentor and guide engineering teams effectively.

Pay

$90 per hour.
