Position Overview

JPMC is expanding a new engineering team focused on delivering Agentic AI capabilities and AI-driven features for the Chase Mobile App. These are highly senior positions requiring strong software engineering fundamentals combined with hands-on experience building and supporting enterprise-grade Agentic AI solutions. Candidates should be comfortable working across Python, Java, LangGraph, vLLM, multi-agent architectures, APIs, microservices, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, Cassandra, and production AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise-grade Agentic AI applications.
  • Build multi-agent workflows, tool integrations, and autonomous decision-making systems.
  • Develop production applications using Python and Java.
  • Implement AI solutions using LangGraph, vLLM, LLMs, and retrieval technologies.
  • Design APIs, backend services, microservices, and integration patterns.
  • Build scalable containerized applications using Kubernetes and AWS.
  • Work with Kafka, Cassandra, NoSQL databases, and real-time streaming architectures.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AI-enabled applications in production.
  • Use tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace for monitoring and operational support.
  • Apply responsible AI, security, model governance, and enterprise development standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure AI capabilities.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong Python and Java development experience.
  • Hands-on experience building Agentic AI solutions in enterprise/production environments.
  • Experience with: LangGraph, vLLM, LLM/AI technologies, multi-agent architectures, MCP (Model Context Protocol).
  • Strong understanding of API development and microservices.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
  • AWS experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Kafka, Cassandra, NoSQL, and real-time streaming.
  • CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and production support experience.
  • Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring platforms.
  • Understanding of responsible AI, security, governance, and enterprise standards.

Ideal Candidate

A senior software/AI engineer who combines strong Java/Python backend development with hands-on Agentic AI experience and can take AI solutions from architecture and development through deployment, monitoring, and production support. High-priority profile: Python + Java + Agentic AI + LangGraph + vLLM + MCP + Kubernetes + Kafka + AWS + production AI experience.
