Responsibilities

  • Provide parts service and support information to authorized dealer organizations and customers, enabling them to properly maintain their products.
  • Participate actively in the streamlined process that enables the Aftermarket to provide support from beginning to end, improving customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Foster a positive working relationship and effective communication with internal personnel, dealer representatives, and the customer to provide quality service in a timely manner.
  • Work to achieve company goals, utilizing effective communication, and support all aspects of customer service in everyday business activities.
  • Offer parts expertise support to the Account Representative, Shipping personnel, and Technical Support teams.
  • Manage and coordinate the sales process for aftermarket defense components, including parts, repairs, and maintenance services to existing higher profile clients, by providing comprehensive support to the sales team, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of products while meeting sales targets within the defense industry.
  • Lead and mentor team members, supporting the achievement of internal department key performance indicators.
  • Engage with other departments within the organization to build positive relationships and resolve recurring issues, including Engineering, Purchasing, Account Representatives, Warranty, Publications, and Technical Support.
  • Document dealer inquiries and necessary information within the case management system.
  • Support and work to achieve internal department key performance indicators.
  • Participate in training opportunities to develop skills to better understand products, current technology, and product availability to the field; as well as personal growth opportunities to excel at providing customer support.
  • Manage and participate in current and future projects for the department as assigned by your manager.
  • Keep a log of all current projects and provide updates on the progress requested.
  • Identify opportunities to support continuous improvement in the aftermarket parts supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four (4) or more years of relevant experience (equivalent to ten (10) years total in education and experience); or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the role.
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring, or developing team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Working knowledge of computer software (i.e. Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
  • Experience with ProPricer (plus).
  • Strong technical aptitude, experience with vehicle maintenance parts.
  • Associate degree in a related field or relevant equivalent work experience.
