About the role

Moneta is an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) wholly focused on going further for our clients. We are one firm with many solutions, providing a full spectrum of financial advisory services with our true purpose centered on building relationships and providing exceptional service to clients around the globe. Our entrepreneurial business model is organized around our clients, and our advisor teams are empowered to serve only in the best interest of their clients. Our independence means we are never beholden to stakeholders or parent companies, and we trace our history back nearly 150 years.

The Senior Advisor - (Client Referral Programs) is a hybrid role that combines Senior Advisor-level client advisory with dedicated business development responsibility for the firm's participation in key referral channels. This person builds and maintains relationships with assigned referral sources to grow qualified referral volume, while also serving as a subject matter expert who leads client relationships — including for investors referred by programs which Moneta is a part of — with comprehensive financial planning and wealth management advice. The role requires a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) designation and works closely with the Director of Strategic Growth Initiatives and firm leadership to assess clients' financial situations, develop personalized financial plans, and recommend appropriate investment strategies, insurance products, and retirement planning solutions. Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills are essential — both with referral sources and with clients — as well as proficiency in financial analysis and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate understands how referral programs operate, is comfortable representing the firm in educational and relationship-building event settings, and is equally effective in leading client meetings and financial planning work.
