Our client is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the manufacturing engineering organization supporting factory operations, laboratories, and production teams focused on Ring Laser Gyroscope (RLG) and MEMS-based inertial sensors and IMUs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration skills which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Location: Minneapolis, MN Pay Range: $58/hr What’s the Job? Provide test and manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyroscope (RLG) and MEMS-based inertial measurement units (IMUs). Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability and product health trends. Investigate technical issues, perform failure analysis, and support manufacturing assembly and testing of returned goods. Develop improvements to product designs and manufacturing processes to reduce cost and cycle time. Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and CAMP methodologies to drive continuous improvement and support daily production activities. What’s Needed? U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, testing, fabrication, or assembly processes. Experience investigating technical issues, performing failure analysis, and supporting manufacturing operations. Knowledge of RCCA, Lean, Six Sigma, and FMEA tools and methodologies.
