Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer supports cost estimation, new product launches, and leads standardization and innovation initiatives. Key responsibilities include interfacing with industrial engineering teams, writing technical purchasing specifications, managing equipment projects from planning to installation, and developing and maintaining documentation of key equipment standards.

Responsibilities

• Interface with industrial engineering team to determine equipment requirements
• Write technical purchasing specifications for custom assembly equipment
• Project manage equipment from planning to installation
• Develop & maintain documentation of standards for key equipment
• Travel to support plants 25% average, 50% peak

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering
• Experience in project management
• Technical writing skills, including AutoCad Lt / 2D
• Experience with assembly equipment (build pallets, conveyors, end of line testers)
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail
• High sense of urgency

Qualifications

• Experience in JIT seating or automotive industry
• Experience with industrial control systems like PLC
