About the role
The Senior Administrator of Talent and Diversity Development plays a pivotal role in shaping a joyful, high-performing learning environment where every student thrives and every educator grows. This position partners with senior leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive talent strategy, including diversity and inclusion programs, to attract and retain top talent that supports student success. You will drive proactive and innovative approaches to sourcing, recruiting, and retaining a diverse workforce, while expanding strategic initiatives to diversify the district’s staff. Additionally, you will maintain and create pipeline programs for staff to obtain degrees and certifications, as well as mentorship programs to support professional growth.
This position reports directly to the Chief of Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Exercise a high degree of responsibility for the Human Resources departmental budget.
- Oversee federal and state reporting requirements, including the EPIMS report submitted to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
- Work with district administrators to ensure compliance with the educator and administrator evaluation process.
- Complete and oversee special projects assigned to the Human Resources Department.
- Oversee the dissemination of Human Resource-related employee notifications.
- Serve as a member of various district committees as assigned by the Chief of Human Resources.
- Maintain a professional code of ethics, including confidentiality, fairness, and respect for all individuals.
- Stay current in the field of education and human resources, ensuring competency in areas of responsibility.
- Perform related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (required).
- Massachusetts Assistant Principal/Principal licensure (or eligibility).
- At least 5 years of successful teaching experience.
- Experience with staff recruitment.
- Experience in human resources.
