About the role

The key role supports the Program Executive Office for Nuclear Command, Control, Communications Global Aircrew Strategic Network Terminal (Global ASNT) Increment 2 Block 2 (I2B2) Program Management Office via the Nuclear Networks Division (NCN).

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Program Executive Office (PEO), the Deputy Director, Deputy AFPEO NC3 and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs.
  • Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, deployment and sustainment of weapons systems and associated equipment as well as formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Support and develop acquisition and sustainment reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), Monthly Activity Report (MAR), etc.).
  • Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.
  • Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
  • Understand the different funding types, budgets and the Central Asset Management (CAM).

Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 Operation of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework, AFI 63-101/20-101, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force.
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition, sustainment, or modification programs.
  • Effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, master's degree preferred.
  • Program Manager experience, with at least 5-7 years in a DoD environment. (Air Force preferred)
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Benefits

The expected annual salary range: $170k - $195K. Salary is dependent upon the role, associated responsibilities, candidates experience and qualifications to include education/training and key skills.
