Senior Accounts Payable Associate

Responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile Accounts Payable aging to ensure accuracy and timely resolution
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve invoice discrepancies and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Maintain vendor records and support 1099 processing
• Support timely payment processing in alignment with established schedules
• Aid in month-end and year-end close activities
• Provide back-up support for daily dashboard and aging reports
• Document accounts payable policies and procedures; assist the Accounts Payable Manager with process improvements
• Participate in accounts payable team projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Support the escheatment process to ensure compliance with all regulations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience, including Workday invoice expertise
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, financial chart of accounts, W9 familiarity and 1099 reporting
• Skilled in problem-solving, issue escalation, and handling confidential information
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); experience with Workday, Concur and NetSuite preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptable, growth-oriented, and eager to learn new skills

Compensation - Salary range - $70,000 – $75,000 per year
