About The Role As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible to accurately perform accounting, audit, and review functions for various early-stage startups in different industries. You will be a liaison between a portfolio of clients and outside agencies. You will help to lead a team of staff accountants and will work closely with a cross-functional team of experienced accounting pros to ensure all client requirements are successfully met. Success in this role requires a thorough understanding of accounting, business management acumen, experience with startups, excellent execution skills, ability to multitask, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities Review monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports for multiple clients to ensure accuracy and completenessOversee staff of accounting managers and associatesParticipate in growing financial review and audit practiceRecord and manage client's payroll, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, etc. Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requestedAdhere to proper accounting methods, policies, and principlesStay informed and current with bookkeeping, tax filing, HR standards, and other related government regulationsAssess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvementsTrack billable hours between different clientsManage submitting, approving, and tracking of maintenance projectsOrganizing documents online in Google Drive & internal Fondo App Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required. Concentration in Accounting or Finance preferredCPA with attest authority5+ years experience working in accounting and/or auditing and completing financial reviewsStrong knowledge of accounting theory, principles, and practicesProficient skills in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft ExcelExperience managing multiple clients' financialsAbility to describe accounting systems and processes in written correspondence and in procedure manual formatKnowledge of research techniques to analyze data and make recommendationsKnowledge of computer information systems to present financial informationAbility to prepare statistical reports and analyze financial reportsFlexibility and the ability to manage ambiguity and create processes and clarity Compensation And Benefits Competitive Salary: Earn between $90,000-$120,000 annually, based on your experience, qualifications, and location.
