Senior Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Prepare and review financial statements, variance analyses, and internal reporting packages
• Maintain and enhance close calendars, workflows, and reporting processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements
• Support external audit processes and coordinate with auditors
• Partner with reporting teams to improve data flow and overall reporting accuracy
• Support internal control and compliance initiatives, including audit readiness
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline manual workflows and enhance efficiency
• Optimize accounting systems and reporting structures to support scalability
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership teams
• Mentor and support team members while contributing to the development of a scalable accounting function
• Drive automation and continuous improvement across accounting operations

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to public company environments
• Strong experience managing month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting operations
• Experience supporting audits and internal control frameworks
• Strong process improvement and systems optimization experience
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• CPA and/or public accounting background preferred
