Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5-8 years of accounting experience
- Experience leading month-end close
- Prior supervisory experience
- Background in manufacturing, consumer products, industrial, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or similar industries
- SAP or comparable ERP experience
- Strong Excel, analytical, and communication skills
- Preferred: CPA, Big 4/public accounting experience, ERP implementation experience, Knowledge of IFRS
Responsibilities
- Own the month-end close process and financial reporting
- Review general ledger activity, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support internal and external audits
- Oversee operational accounting and ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS
- Lead and mentor one accounting team member
- Drive process improvements and support ERP implementation initiatives
- Partner with business leaders on accounting-related matters
