About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of our financial operations as we scale. You will own core accounting processes in NetSuite, manage monthly closes, and strengthen reporting controls across the parent company and subsidiaries.
Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process across the parent company and two small subsidiaries, completing within ten business days.
- Ensure accurate reconciliations in NetSuite, including COGS, debt schedules, asset tracking, AP/AR, and other balance sheet items.
- Manage external accounting contractors to complete accounting and reporting requirements from management.
- Clean up and validate historical transactions, including migrating and updating data from legacy ERPs (QuickBooks, Sage).
- Oversee ERP integrity, ensuring NetSuite reflects accurate, real-time data.
- Support external audit processes and maintain compliance with accounting standards.
- Provide granular reporting on key metrics such as margins, time to payment, and deal data segmented by region, product family, channel, and deal type.
- Partner with the Finance Operations Manager to ensure accurate project costing, and vendor/client communications.
- Maintain oversight of inventory and work in process accuracy.
Qualifications (Must Haves)
- 6-10 years of related accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant at some point prior.
- Hands-on NetSuite accounting and reconciliation experience across parent and subsidiaries.
- Strong background in manufacturing and inventory accounting.
- QuickBooks experience.
- Proven ability to lead month-end close processes independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience participating in or leading a financial audit.
- Prior experience in high-growth or acquisition-heavy environments.
- Familiarity with migrating financial data from multiple ERPs.
