Responsibilities

• Support the largest, most influential dermatology group in the United States.
• Represent virtually all practicing dermatologists in the United States, as well as a growing number of international dermatologists, with a membership of over 21,000 physicians.
• Advocate high standards in clinical practice, education, and research in dermatology.
• Support and enhance patient care for a lifetime of healthier skin, hair, and nails.
• Reflect the following values in all its programs and initiatives: Patient-first, Member-centric, Lifelong learning, Visionary leadership, Professionalism, Unity, Scientifically-founded.
• Ensure healthy skin for all and end suffering from skin disease.
• Advocate to ensure that all member dermatologists can effectively and efficiently practice dermatology.
• Design and deliver the gold standard of dermatologic education.
• Strengthen and safeguard access to dermatologic care for all.
• Facilitate optimal patient care through the collection, analysis, interpretation and utilization of data.
