Senior Accountant - Healthcare
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare accounting standards
- Aid in audit preparation and coordination with external auditors
- Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain internal controls and improve accounting procedures
- Partner with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3–6+ years of accounting experience, healthcare industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, Workday, or similar preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
- CPA or CPA-track is a plus
- Strong communication skills with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
