Senior Accountant (Healthcare)

The Role

Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their central finance team, reporting to the Accounting Manager. In this role, you'll be hands-on across accounting operations for a complex multi-entity, multi-state structure — executing close processes, handling intercompany accounting, supporting acquisition integrations, and contributing to financial reporting and controls. This is a great opportunity for someone in a high-growth, PE-backed environment who wants exposure to consolidations, M&A activity, and scalable accounting processes — with real room to grow.

What You'll Do

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities across multiple entities and locations
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and account analyses
• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions and support eliminations
• Affort in preparing consolidated financial reporting packages
• Support accounting integration of acquired businesses, including chart of accounts mapping and balance sheet validation
• Provide support for external audits, lender reporting, and investor-level financial requirements
• Identify automation and process improvement opportunities within accounting operations
• Parelle with FP&A and operations teams on budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis

What We're Looking For

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CPA track strongly preferred
• Experience with multi-site, multi-state, or multi-entity organizations preferred
• Strong technical foundation in GAAP, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
• Exposure to intercompany accounting and consolidations a plus
• Experience within a private equity-backed organization a plus
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling)
