About the role
We are a rapidly scaling, late-stage startup delivering advanced software platforms and AI-powered toolchains for the development, testing, validation, and deployment of ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) and autonomous vehicle systems. As a Senior Accountant, you will be a critical driver of our financial integrity and operational scale. You will take ownership of core accounting functions while proactively improving the systems and processes that power our rapid growth.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards in following areas including but not limited to: prepaid expense, fixed assets, lease, intangible amortization, expense allocation, reimbursement/credit liabilities.
- Support Period-end close activities, including complex journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis, as well as other duties in accordance with the company timelines and schedule.
- Support month end close process including assisting with global consolidation process.
- Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and variances.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external reporting requirements and disclosures.
- Aid in ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred not required.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and technology company roles.
- Proficiency with NetSuite and Excel is required.
- Strong analytical and data aggregation skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Qualifications
- Experience with financial systems and processes.
- Understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
- Experience with budgeting and variance analysis.
